Hi, I’m Dr. Ancy Mona—a dentist by training but a passionate cook at heart. My journey from dentistry to the culinary arts stems from a simple belief: true happiness lies in pursuing what you genuinely love. While I valued my career as a dentist, it was in the kitchen where I truly felt alive, finding joy, creativity, and purpose. Cooking has been my sanctuary, a passion nurtured since I was ten years old.
Many have asked, “Why cooking?” The answer is simple: it’s where I find my bliss. My recipes are more than meals—they’re heartfelt creations inspired by the culinary legacies of my grandmother, mother, mother-in-law, and cherished friends. Each dish tells a story of tradition, innovation, and love, honed not in formal kitchens but through years of hands-on experience and experimentation.
Moving to Adelaide marked a new chapter in my life, one filled with challenges and opportunities. Adjusting to a new culinary landscape sparked an idea: why not create spice blends and masalas that simplify cooking while preserving authenticity? Born from my own cravings for familiar flavors, these blends are free from additives and preservatives, offering a healthier, hassle-free way to enjoy delicious meals.
This dream would not have come to life without the unwavering support of my incredible family. My father, a constant source of encouragement, my mother, whose cooking inspired my earliest memories in the kitchen, and my husband, my biggest cheerleader and honest critic, have all played pivotal roles in my journey.
What began as a personal passion has now blossomed into a business dedicated to sharing the joy of cooking with others.
